| If I spend too much time explaining my long absence from this medium I will never get around to saying anything new, so..... I have realized I am not a Fall person. Because I spend the days indoors, I crave the evening to get things done around the yard, or go for a walk. As the days get shorter I am limited in what I can get done outside. It is a beautiful season in many ways, and I appreciate the variety, but I do miss the evening light and productivity of summer. (But then, Fall is a great time to give someone a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils.) (and I've never been to Boston in the Fall) |

| It's strange to be sitting at your desk at work and realize that one of your kids is taking off from LAX to the other side of the world at that moment. This world is so huge, and yet has become so small now. But what is really important is that He holds the whole world in His hands. |
